What kinds of events support American Sign Language?

ASL is available for all EventBuilder Streaming Event types: Live, Simulated Live and Archived Event recordings.

How much does an ASL Interpreter cost?

ASL services can be ordered on a per-event basis from $600 per hour.

Are additional languages available?

Unfortunately EventBuilder can only provide American Sign Language at this time.

Is there anything I need to provide?

For live events you must provide content related assets to assist our interpreters a minimum of seven days in advance of your live presentation:

  • Slide deck (a draft version is acceptable)
  • Event description
  • Presenter names and correct spellings
  • Please send materials to our Accessibility Team: services@eventbuilder.com

What can I expect on event day?

The day of your Event, an ASL interpreter professional will join your Teams Meeting approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.

Please have the Event day contact confirm the interpreter's camera is on and visible in the Teams room alongside any slides being presented.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel?

  • Cancellations within 5 business days of the scheduled start date will be charged in full.
  • Cancellations within 10 business days of the scheduled start date will be charged 50%.

No fees are applied if the Event is rescheduled or cancelled 11+ business days in advance of the scheduled start date.
