A step-by-step guide for the In-Person event check-in process for Organizers and Guest Accounts.
Accessing the Event Registrant Roster: Organizers
On the day of the Event, log into your Portal and navigate to your Events list. On the In-Person Event you wish to check Attendees in for, select the person icon:
Note: Organizers have full access to the Registrant area, where they can check in Attendees, perform on-the-fly changes, and track attendance.
Accessing the Event Registrant Roster: Guest Accounts
On the day of the event, you will receive an email with an “Event Log In” button at the bottom:
Note: Guest Accounts have partial access to the Registrant area, where they can assist Attendees with check-in.
Click “Event Log In.” The Registrant Check-In Access dialog will open:
Click on the green people icon to advance to the list of Event Registrants.
Registrant Check-In
Use the Search field to look up Registrants by first name, last name, or their event registration email.
When ready to mark an Attendee as checked-in, click on the checkbox icon:
Next, the following confirmation dialog will appear:
Image Text: Are you sure your want to mark Susan Williams as attended? This action cannot be reversed.
Click the 'Continue' button to mark the Registrant as attended, or the 'Cancel' button if you wish to stop the check-in process for your Attendee.
WARNING: Once an Attendee has been checked in, this action can't be undone.
The checkbox icon will no longer appear on the Registrant's record, indicating they have been checked into the Event.
