What can I expect on event day?
What happens on the day of my event?
The day of your Event, a live captioning professional will dial in to join your Teams Meeting approximately 10 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
Please have the Event day contact confirm the captioner is able to hear the pre-conference and do the start/stop cueing below.
- Before starting the stream, queue your captioner by saying: "We will be live in 3 – 2 – 1."
- To end captioning, queue your captioner by saying: "You may now disconnect."
At the time of your live Event, captions will appear in the EventBuilder stream when enabled by the Attendee. Captions may also be accessed via the pop-out window(s) provided in your confirmation email.
